Hi, For 87-89 there are only one "main" model of the FZR750 Genesis. (The other one is the OW01 that was produced from 89 and a couple of years on, but is a productionracer and very rare / expensive). The one that you have I think is referred to as UK-model in the Haynes manual, with 34mm carbs etc....

Hi, this explains a lot :thumbsup: Haynes manual states a fuel level 7,3-9,3mm above the line on the float bowl for my fzr750, but this is simply impossible to achieve! When I adjusted the level from approx. 15mm below the line to 9mm below the line, evrything was working fine! If you or anyone know...

Hi Darren, Got the same issue with my 87 FZR750 (2LM jap. import). Before I started, the float heigts were 13-14mm, but the engine hesitated when accelerating from 1.5-2.0k rpm. Also, it was not running properly when starting from cold with choke. Otherwise the spark plugs were looking fine, so I do...

Hi John. The 2LM model, with engine no. FM*** is a japanese domestic marked model restricted to 77hp and 180km/h.
