nope, i cant agree. With that said i shouldv'e have checked twice and then twice more on the connections. The battery is still shot, but it runs. I need to get me a thermometer to balance the carbs and i should be running perfect.

i cleaned them as best as i could, i checked the power at the plug in to the coil and it was still 9v. the rocker switch gets hot enough to burn you when you touch it so im hoping this is the problem. I hate when people mess with things and then half ass fix them. the previous owner lost the key and...

above test preformed and it still read 9, the ignition is just a simple rocker switch so im hoping replacing that will fix this?

ok, so after the swap i got it running and drove it around for about an hour then i parked it. Im going to assume the regulator is bad seeings how after i shut it down it wouldn't start without jumping it or push starting it. Well when i returned the hour later and tried to jump start it it wouldn't...

i found a good complete head for 50 that cam out of a running bike and is guaranteed to function properly so im just gonna get it and swap. Im hoping this solves the no start problem so bad

how much for the motor? maybe just the top end if your willing to separate?

what about the head? im pretty sure my valves are shot so i figured i would swap whole heads and be done with it. shipping would be to 98902

anyone? how am i to know what shims to get since i cant measure the clearance?

After going through everything twice(under exaggeration) and still no start I figured I would check the valves. I'm not to familiar with valves, so I'm not sure what I'm doing totally. I took the .004/.008 feeler gauge and tried to put in the intake sides while the lobes were in the right place and ...

the new boots i got when ohm tested read 4.96 measured on the 20k. on the "no spark now what" page it said they should read 9k-11,000. so does this mean that the boots i bought wont work?

So I replaced the plugs and boots and now have a good consistent spark but still no start. I've tried spraying starter fluid and still no go, I've checked and re-checked the fireing order and still no go. Any other suggestions.
