My local bike place didn't have any reasonably-priced tires that would fit the FZR, only some overpriced bias-ply xyz brand, so I found the bt014s at denniskirk for really cheap, front and rear $200 total. Took the wheels off myself and brought them to a shop, mounting and tire disposal fees $58. HU...

The Dunlops look like great tires, but I can't find them for sale anywhere in the USA. Also available are Shinko and Kenda, and generic Metzeler tires for front and rear, I've found. The Avon Storm STs (AV-55/56) look good too, but I'm probably gonna get some BT-14s, since they are the cheapest and ...

Ethanol will bump up the octane rating of fuel, possibly giving you a few extra hps, but it's overall energy content is lower than gasoline, giving you lower gas mileage. (Diesel has higher energy content. Therefore, better gas mileage.). My FZR turns out 49 mpg pretty regularly with mostly freeways...
