Hi again, just been rooting around a bit more and ive managed to locate the discs that will fit. They are of EBC make and are 282mm in diameter. The product codes are MD2022LS (LEFT SIDE) & MD2022RS (RIGHT SIDE) probably about £150 to £170 each but some of you might know where to get them cheaper. J...

got a value of 85 across all cylinders, piston rings are all worn but surprisingly not blown which is normally what happens to just one, anyway whilst i was there also discovered head gasket is in need of replacement so that is to be done! checked all the valve clearances and theyre spot on, the hea...

thanks for the help, ive got one cylinder at 85 at the minute, gonna check the rest soon, but the way its looking i think ill have to start getting in to valve clearances & such :/

Just found out that the inner tube/stansion bush comes with a new tube when you order one and isnt a seperate part, which is quite ridiculous!

hey george, yeah its the grey coloured metal one with the split down the middle which wears to a copper colour on the inside when theyre used. If the case is that i cant get them from yamaha i could see whether honda have anything close as ive got a cbf 500 & theyre exactly the same fork make up but...
