Just went and looked and the left side is about 3/4" apart

and the right it about 1/4" hope this helps.

Having trouble tracing down my problem. I can ride sometimes 10 feet or 6 miles but when I stop my main fuse blows. It started today after changing the clutch cable.

Pulled this off of a R1 to find out it is a direct fit. Its alot more solid and not as spongy as the Fzr MC.

NB, when you get done with that one ill send you mine. Lol, great job so far!
