Re: HOW-TO: YZF600R Swingarm Conversion Write-Up <Updated>
I haven't hardly touched my fzr. I put about 1k miles on it in 2010, and haven't ridden it since. Anything over 30 minutes or so and I was in pain. I'm going to switch to dirt bars soon. I picked up a new 09 Warrior last summer, so that's what I've been rising. I have a huge box of new parts for it ...

Re: HOW-TO: YZF600R Swingarm Conversion Write-Up <Updated>
Awww. That sucks. I'm reworking the fzr a bit this spring after i finish up my Warrior mods and get back on the road after winter. I'm itching to get my fzr up in the canyons again. Hopefully the new bars will make it a bit more comfortable on my neck and wrists.

I'm not sure if my phone isn't loading everything or are all the pics gone? I can't find my gallery either. Are the member galleries gone?

Re: Hey everybody! Long time, no see
Im fond of those as well. I really like the low, curvy muscle bike setup, and im a sucker for USD forks. I always liked the warriors but didnt love it until the reimage when it got 5 spokes and new bars. It wasnt until I saw one in a dealership with these pipes on it (which made it for me!) And it w...

Hey everybody! Long time, no see
Hello again FZRO! I missed you guys! I work way too freaking much and turned off my home internet a while back, so ive been out of touch. Still got my hybrid, although shes noy as pretty as she used to be. I injured my neck a few years ago and cant ride a sportbike for extended periods withouy pain....

Re: 07 08 r1 tail swap
Use the battery for the subframe. Im running a sealed 06 R1 battery in the stockish location. I did have to make my own front seat bracket, which I made out of aluminum strips. IIRC, I had to shave the underside of the seat and trim the tank a little as well, but otherwise it worked out well. Its de...

Re: FZR400 Frame / R6 subframe?

Re: 07 08 r1 tail swap
Nice progress there, it looks really good. One thing I notice on yours is a small gap between the top of the frame horn and the subframe. I had this same issue and had to weld about 1" of material on top to extend it up a bit into the subframe. I havent seen the 07+ subframe closely, but I know on m...

Re: Stock Rear Spring Rate? R6 shock installed
Ive got a stock R6 shock and spring and it feels perfect for my bike. But then again, my bike is lighter than your average FZR, but it seems to be a perfect compliment to my YZF swingarm. I had to make minimal adjustments to the dampening before I was really happy with the ride. Im 170lbs + gear. In...

Re: Which tank looks better? Need your opinion!
I like the looks of the 1k tank. @mrfreeze5, did the front of the tank overhang the frame or did it expand up and out from the frame? (Think v-shape when looking from the front) It fit the frame nicely IIRC, but its been a few years, and it was only on there a brief time before I took it off since ...

Re: Which tank looks better? Need your opinion!
Ive run both those tanks on my bike, and the front of the 1k tank is too wide, the bars will hit the tank before full lock since the 1000 tank does not have enough recess right in that area. But if you are running dirt bars, you could probably get away with it just fine and it would look great, but ...

Re: Hydraulic Clutch Conversion Basics - Write-up Added
Has the bike been sitting for a while? Sometimes it can bind up a little and stick when its been sitting, and once you break it loose everything kinda drags. Once the bike is started and the oil is moving, and the output shaft spins a few times, it looses up.
