anyone got a pic of a stock needle for the 88 fzr 750 ? (the ones in the diaphrams)

and

anyone know the stock setting on the fuel screws ? (how many turns out)

ya i dont think any STOCK bike has adjustable needles ... not that ive ever seen as a bike tech..... glad to see im thinking on the right track with this problemm.. never messed/worked on FZR's yet in my career... same concept as any other carbed bike but theres always those little things that ya do...

good call... got the carbs out and apart.... it has a on/off idle problem also... the pilots where clear for the most part..... the needles look to be aluminun and where set way high.... anyone got a pic of the order of parts on the needle (e-clip, shim, washer etc) im thinking that might be the mai...

ok thought i had the problem figured out but still cutting out... its a customers bike and once ya get to 6-8k it starts to spitter/sputter all the way up to redline. noticed it was missing the FUEL PUMP so got a R1 pump and wired it in.. pump works perfect and shuts off/comes on as it should.... ca...

got a pump for the customers 88 fzr 750... now i need to know what color the wiring is for the pump to plug into ?? anyone got a schematic they can email me ?

If memory serves me correctly. The FZR600 pump should work as well along with ANY two wire, self regulating pump. Only needs about 5.5 (or is it 7) psi to work. I've read that old VW beetle pumps can be used as well. ya im looking at the r6/r1 pumps on ebay and ive found some decent deals there.. h...

kid had another bike garage in town go thru carbs awhile back.... im guessing this just uses a pulse fuel pump (diaphram pump) .. im thinking either the pump is weak or filter is clogged... gotta check that out monday... thinking it will pump enough to let it idle but not enough to supply the main j...

got a customers bike here.. not familiar with the 750...

the problem is it stumbles after 6,000 rpm all the way to redline....

it idles perfect and runs nice up to 6k..... it has died out a few times while just sitting there/riding slow.. weak pumk running the bowls dry ?
