Hi Gizzards 600 is still causing him problems, It will start and tick over, but as soon as you put it under load it bogs down. It will run cleanly with out the airbox on. You did put it on in the correct posititon. Timing marks lined up at TDC on cylinder 1. This would be the first thing I would check. Not doubting your work but just an idea.

I used the same earthing point for the last VR if I remember correctly. Yes I'm still over Saturday. What time?????

You've gota manual son. Have you checked the wiring diagram mate. I would seperate the two earth wires as well. On your original R6 reg/rec I wired them in seperately. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

With regards to the salvage, you can buy back the salvage. It is then your responsibility to dispose of the scrap (legally). Yeah i looked into an abba stand but you cant have the front and rear elivated at the same time and thats what i wanted for over the winter keep the tyres off the ground till there indoors :). And it means i can remove the eninge as once thats out i can just rest the frame on a metal box. Get yours...

Looks like you're off to a good start Note to self: Don't drink Gizzard's Dr. Pepper Yeah its going better than i thought it would, i thought with it being a 20 year old bike i'd run in to a fair few tough nuts and bolts but so far its been a pleasure to work on with only three bolts snapping on me...
