what year R6 shock will fit a 90 fzr600 pls...
Hello all, Took the bike out yesterday and after an hour I was gritting my teeth with the pain in my lower back. Even the slightest edge on the road surface was being translated straight up my spine. i noticed as i was going over bigger bumps that there was a ungainly noise as the rear end came off ...

The bike flys now, starts on the button, brand new rear tire, 18000 miles needs and MOT and Tax.. No reason it will fail, bearings, brakes, lights, all good. there is a slight stumble in the first 16th of the throttle although my mate who tested it with me said he couldn't notice it, but i could..) ...

Bench syncing carbs...
Hi there , I was kindly given this clear explanation of how to bench sync my carbs on my fzr600 by DonTZ125.. Bench-synching the carbs - you want to use the smallest possible drill bit; 1/2" shanks won't work! Some guys use piano wire or safety wire. I believe the #2 carb is the 'master' - slip the ...

Re: hi chaps, just got a 90 zfr600.. poss clutch probs? help
Thanks for the reply DonTZ125.. Point taken on the frustrated racer rant.. Bear in mind that I am talking about slow moving manoeuvring 5-20mph.. typically second gear corners around town.. there is a higher friction type of sound from the engine and this seems to catch and then release repeatedly (...

Just got a new 90 plate fzr600... Amongst the long list of things that the bloke who sold it didn't tell me about.... :tks: bonkonhead is that, at slow speeds when decelerating (say as you go into second gear for a slowish corner..) using the resistance of the engine to smoothly slow the ...

cam chain seems too tight to remove cam shafts..??
alright chaps, in the middle of checking and adjusting valves.. undone all the cam shaft caps.. (1 and 4 on the inlet were upside down and in the place... i.e. 1 was upside down where the 4 should be and vise versa?) some previous person in a hurry perhaps? Anyway, with the cam caps all off, the cam...

Re: will an 90? exup engine fit straight into a 93 exup????
thanks for the info icequeen, i've been told that i need to get hold of an 90 R oil cooler and block off the hose that goes to the existing integrated oil cooler from my RU 93 radiator. Apparently the output pipe from the coolant pump on the 90 R has a different connection on the end than the input ...
