I'll book it in for a top end service (shim and carb balance) am sure they'll be able to tell me if everything's OK or not.

Should my clutch be noisy during initial bite, it's only noticeable at very low revs and if I dip the clutch apply more rev's and let the lever out again its much quieter.
It doesn't appear to slip under load and there's no noticeable clutch rattle when not in gear

Thanks Ice queen (was beginning to think nobody was going to answer) Just got home with it (round friends for the weekend) will pull the fairings off and have a good butchers around the motor, exhaust etc......when it stops raining.....
