Re: Frame sliders? Lowering?
I should also mention that once your bike is lowered, you'll need to be careful how to park the bike b/c the kickstand will not let your bike lean as much.

Re: Frame sliders? Lowering?
That's great to know. How tall exactly are you? I was thinking about getting some adjustable dog bones, but that sounds like an option. I'm only 5'7". At 5'7", you should be able to have good footing on the FZR as is. I believe my bike was lowered about 1" and I'm able to flat foot (with work boots...

Re: Frame sliders? Lowering?
I'm also not the tallest as well...My bike was previously owned by a female who is shorter than I and was lowered so she can touch the ground. She told me that she swapped the dog bones from an R6 which is shorter than the FZR. You can pehaps buy these dog bones on ebay. I can sit on the FZR and fla...

Re: FZR 600 Exhaust 1990
Consider the slip on exhausts from Delkevic. This is their UK website:

Welcome to the site...the FZR is easy to maintain (eventhough it's carburated). Enjoy!

Re: lowered fzr600
Mine was lowered by the previous owner (female) by swapping the shock links with an R6. It's lowered about an inch or a little more.
The only issue is using the kickstand to park your bike because the bike will not slant as much now.
