State and Federal towing procedure. (MD)
So my bike was towed the other day to get a new tire put on. The tow truck driver used 3 points of tie down. Front and back wheels were strapped and pulled then a strap over my seat. Well the strap over my seat left damage. So now I'm going thru my insurance to get it fixed. So last night my clutch ...

Clutch Cable... Snap!
Yeah so two days after I get a new tire put on. The clutch cable snaps. I was leaving work around midnight last night when it happened. I rode during the day and to work and it was all good. I just don't understand how a cable that strong snaps like it's nothing. Either way I called my mechanic and ...

Re: Avon AV56/ 600,600R
The tire fit thank god. That was after waiting three and a half hours for my insurance to tow the bike. Then the tow driver ruined my seat from the way he strapped it down. Ahhh life is good. But the AV56 150/70-18, looks and feels good. Thanks again for all the help.

Avon AV56/ 600,600R
So I just got my Avon AV56 150/70-18. It just looks so wide. But many on here say they use these tires with no rubbing problem. Someone please assure me that this tire will fit a 1997 FZR 600R. banghead I'm going nuts thinking it's gonna be too wide. And why is my bike listed on my insurance as a 60...

Re: Bridgestone BT-014?
I recently (about 3 months ago) bought 2 av56's and im very pleased with this tire. They warm up quickly and provide plenty of traction, even in the rain i might add haha, and they seem to be doing great on the mileage maybe because theyre spourt touring tires, i dont know. I bought them from amazo...

Re: Bridgestone BT-014?
It looks like if I go any wider the tire would hit the bar that holds the rear break. Is going from a 140 to a 150 that big of a difference?

Bridgestone BT-014?
I was looking at the wiki. So the Bridgestone BT-014's are the replacements for a 140/70-18" rear tire? I'm asking because when I googled bridgestone and 140/70-18 it shows a Bridgestone BT-45. Or maybe I bought the bike with the wrong size tire on it. Idk. I have a 97' 600. Should I get the BT-014 ...

Re: Seafoam motor treatment. Has anyone used this?
I let it sit out in the sun for a couple hours. Then it slid right on. This stuff does the job. I guess it was all the dirty carbon, because the tailpipe shot out white smoke for 10 minutes. Which is what I saw on you tube. So I guess it worked. I drove about 30 miles after and it def rode different...

Re: Seafoam motor treatment. Has anyone used this?
Good stuff guys. I used about half the bottle. A little in the crank case and the rest in the tank. But I only rode about 10miles after adding. I'll be putting about an hour of riding in tomorrow, so hopefully I feel a diference. I've never seen a product with so many applications. It's like a tune-...

Re: Seafoam motor treatment. Has anyone used this?
I would put it in the carbs. But I live in the city and don't have a place to work on my bike. I'm hoping putting some in the gas tank will help clean the carbs. Im not sure how much to put in the crank case though. Any idea how much to add with the oil? Or is there a way to pour it in the carbs wit...
