Re: 94 FZR600 starting issues please help!
I know if i let mine crank with a weak battery it won't start and tends to foul the plugs. It sure couldn't hurt to pull the plugs and have a look, dry and clean them if fouled and give it another go.

Re: 94 FZR600 starting issues please help!
Ike, definitly sounds like you're not charging. Changing the stator may or may not help. It also sounds like your battery is not fully charged. With a fully charged battery it should crank like crazy. As stated, start with a fully charged known good battery and check voltages. Let the battery sit fo...

Re: cheep digital speedometers found
As an option if you just want some basics or add-ons like a clock, max/min, additional trip computer etc you can use a bicyle computer that allows a high speed range such as the Sigma Sport line. It's a cheap easy way to add digital spedo if you've modded away from the mechanical system. I have one ...

Re: Replacement Battery
Thanks for all the replies. I like the Antigravity a lot from what I've read but I think I'll let the prices fall and the experiences grow for a few years while I run the Motobatt. I want to go sealed for the bikes sake and cheap for economic sake. Glad to learn that Li vehicle batteries are coming ...

Replacement Batteries
Dare I ask for a ballpark on the Lifepo4?
Has anyone tried a MotoBatt MB12U? About $71 on amazon, listed as a YB12ALA replacement (my current batt with term adapters).
Also listed for the FZR600 on the motobatt site. I'm leaning toward trying one...

BUMP!
Any good choices for an AGM or Gel Cell battery for the FZR600?
My Yuasa is going on 8 or 9 Colorado seasons. Battery minder was able to save it the last couple years but I don't want to torture the charging system and it's not coming back so well this year.
Thanks in advance, Andy

Re: Oil Fiter Cross Reference
So to clarify the first post, is there a difference between the 89-90 and 91-on bikes as far as header clearance for the filter? Post 1 is best list for early motors and post 2 is best list for late motors? Who can use 2.5 and who can use 3.25 long? It seems clear that the base is different given th...
