word. idk what the retard at advace was talking about but he said he had two part numbers and the filters where not the same, if i go with the k*n am i going to have to tune my carbs again? cuz that sucks.

just check you spark plug gromets on your valve cover, thats happened to me b4 but on a honda crx, just replace the valve cover gasket as a set. if it still dus it, id say take another look at your piston rings oil could be leaking passed them, but most of the time its just the gasket.

how can you tell where your bike was made? can i just google the vin number or call yamaha? i tried to order a new air filter from autozone( 60 damn bucks) and they said that they needed to know where the bike was made because they had two dif filters..

voltage at the battery with te bike off= 12.5 volts voltage at the battery whith the bike running at 3k rpm 14.2 volts... any other suggestions?
