Yeah I ended up making them out of t6 aircraft aaluminum at .26mm or 1/4 inch thick width the length 155cm or 1550 mm from center to center of mounting holes raising my tail aprox 2"! Super cheap build and made a great difference falling into corners! Dont waist your money ordering them!

Put a Mr. Gasket pump on. On with about 3-5 psi they work great no flooding the carbs and last for a long time! $45.00 comparred to the oem $400+ pump

I use YamaLube 20w-50 non synthetic recomended by a yamaha dealer on a 90 Exup 1000 with great success!

HELP! ENGINE

Hi I have a 90 fzr 1000 and need a new engine I found one but the guy doesnt know the year< it looks exactly the same and has the oil cooler lines meaning its younger than a 94 but is it older than a 88? How do I tell besides the angle of the cylinder?

Hi I need a crankshaft that will fit a 90 fzr 1000 so if anybody out there can help me out thank you. Any 89-95 crank will fit but must be in good condition

Ok so when I replaced the valve, I cleaned all the seats and did a valve adjustment but didnt check the spring length so maybe im thinkin valve float? And today I pulled the engine back out and found no visible signs of a valve hitting the piston and nothin was out of the ordinary for a bike with 45...

Valve trouble

So I have a 90 fzr 1000 and one of the valves was getin stuck colliding with the piston so I replaced the valve reassembled it did the timing and started the bike only to hear the same sound, banging metal from the cylinder head! anyone have a clue whats goin on?

Had the same problem turned out if was the connecting rod bearings 20$ times eight. But I disassembled the engine and installed them, shop labor ur lookin at 650-1000$ Sorry

Siezed engine

I have a 90 FZR 1000 EXUP a today I heard a bearing churp followed by an immediate grinding sound then bamb the engine siezed locking up the rear wheel.
