Thanks for the idea... used it and got the front wheel removed this morning and took care of the problem. The tabs piece was missing! Got a new one and now it works fine.

It just fell into place... So probably is missing that part! I'm going to have to fabricate some way of lifting the front of my bike... I can't afford to buy a lift right now... And I'll take a look, but I bet you are right, it's probably missing that part.

So when I got my FZR1000 the speedometer was not working... Got a new cable for it but did not fix the problem! Got the new piece for the wheel, but... still doesn't work! I fixed mine using the wiki page on how to repair it! It was easy... and works great. Cost me like $20 USD

I was wondering if anyone has an extra exhaust valve (exup) pulley cover laying around in their FZR1000 "extra parts basket" ????
I serviced my valve yesterday to discover it is missing the protective cover....

Just wanted to chare some photos of my FZR1000 now that it's completed! I call it my Voodoo Child and it was the idea behind the paint job!
