My fuel pump on my 94 fzr 1000 quit. Ive seen a points kit for fuel pumps, do they work? Just want some input on this before i spend $ on some thing i might not need. I checked my pump out everything looks clean just no fuel flowing

im buying a 92 fzr 1000 project today, the only thing wrong with it are the cracked cylinders, ive found a set with pistons from an 89 and the price is right will they work?
