Re: Pulsing, Lurching @ low rpm's?
Did you adjust the clutch at the engine end? There's a rubber grommet and adjustment screw with locking nut. Sometimes the spring tension can make it seem as though you have the correct play but it still isn't closing properly. Just mentioned it because it happened to me!

Re: Well what do yous think ?
Your problem could be the k&n. Too much air for the normal jetting? Might be worth trying a standard filter?

Re: Fitting new header pipes
Try a tap with a rubber mallet also make sure you are supporting the pipes underneath so they run parallel to the sump. A block or two of wood should help.that way you are pushing them in at the correct angle and not fighting the weight of the pipes.

Re: need advice
Cam chain tensioner? Carefully remove bolt (it's undrr spring tension) and gently press a screw driver down onto tensioner just GENTLY and see if it will drop down a click. Might sort out the rattle.

Re: Brake caliper O ring seals
Been Long time away but..Is it a 3en1? Ive got a set of calipers from one in the garage if memory serves. I can split em and messure if needed. Or if wanted they can be had for postage cost. Not got 3en1 anymore so redundant! I do seem to remember that they need pad pins though.

Re: fzr 400 3en2 big question need help please
3en1 and 3en2 should be fine. 3tj will be different, think it's to do with the spacing between ports being different. you can use fzr 600 pipes but they hang lower and need the fairing spacing out. 3tj are probably just as difficult to get hold of! if you want to do some fab. you can adapt r6 ones, ...
