Re: r6 shock swap why is ride height greater?
Thanks for all the possible reasons. The shock was from an 09. I did not do a static sag check before I replaced the shock. I did take before and after measurements unloaded [cant remember if i was loaded]. The fzr spring was definitely longer than the r6 spring. Kind of tuff to put on those spring ...

r6 shock swap why is ride height greater?
I swapped the stock shock for the r6 with the fzr spring. I used the adjustable dog bones set to 138mm center to center. My rear ride height increased by 40mm. It seems that the bike should have been about original height with r6 shock and 138mm bones. I measured the orig ride height from same point...

Re: RE: Dec 15 post Starter wont operate- relay clicks
Sounds like the relay if your battery is up. You can take the big wire from the starter off the relay and firmly hold it to pos. side of battery starter should spin. If it does most likely its the relay not much else to the circuit. The starter button is working since it clicks the relay. The relays...

Re: Not Starting...
Hey Ive owned a lot of boats through the years that are kept in salt water which is the toughest environment for electrical. My conclusion is that crimp connectors are junk and can develop a lot of resistance over a short amount of time. I clean the copper on the wire with an eraser especially if it...

Re: convertible bike stand?
So for 30 more bucks and they throw in another part with the wheels and then you have both the front and back stand. Both for 80 plus shipping. Seems like a decent deal for some cheap stands. Thanks for the responses I think I'll get it with the additional part to make 2 stands.

Cool thanks, I didn't think about the use of jack stands under the frame sections that seems like it will help a lot.

Re: Spring rate?
Thanks for the response the old scale further helped my decision I was quite a bit heavier than I thought. Im going to have to think about not eating from the taco truck. Probably the best performance mod and I will be saving money.

Reccomended rate is .94 for the street .99 racing. I will be street only. Should I bite the bullet and pay the extra shipping, p...
