Re: 94 FZR600 replace clutch cable

. My clutch cable is finally here and I have it taped against the old cable and pull it along. I found out it's easier to pull up then to pull down. I put it in the sprocket cover and now I forget if that cable was supposed to be on top of the petcock or under. I have it under the petcock and I'm no...

Re: yzf750 mirror compatible

Ok, I just got confirmation from the seller that it is 2 inches bolt hole to bolt hole so I think it should be a good fit.

Thanks,

yzf750 mirror compatible

I under the mirror from YZF600 is a direct fit but I found a 1997 YZF 750 mirror and wondering if they would fit my 94 fzr600. I'm trying to get the seller to measure the distance between the mounting holes. Would anyone happen to know what the distance to the holes are for our FZR600? Thanks a bunc...

Re: 94 FZR600 replace clutch cable

ok I finally found it, it's the left crankcase cover/front sprocket cover gasket. You may be right I don't think it does anything but for $9 I'll just get one and put it on. Maybe it traps all the dirt from trying to get out :duh: Why is it so filthy, I guess that last owner never took off that cove...

Re: 94 FZR600 replace clutch cable

Thanks for the quick reply. So the clip is to keep the clutch cable in place between the lever and the front sprocket cover. I haven't route my new cable yet so I'll be sure to look for it when I get my new cable. The nut is mashed against the front sprocket New question: it seems the gasket is tear...

Re: 96 fzr600 various adjustment

If memory serves the adjuster bar is left & right hand threaded. Once the lock nuts are loose you just twist the bar until your feet fit. RacerRD is correct you should not just move splines on a remote linkage as the linkage can mechanically bind on it self. I see the dot RacerRD was talking about ...

Re: 96 fzr600 various adjustment

Thanks for all the recommendations. Let me try to understand what each of you is suggesting. I ended up doing what I think Apsolus was suggesting which is to remove the entire foot peg assembly and putting it back while lining up the pedal height. This is how high my shift pedal was: http://tinypic....

96 fzr600 various adjustment

c I just picked up a 96 fzr600 with 24k miles bone stock down to the can and the previous owner did a great job keeping it up except for some reason there are a lot of areas that needs attention. I've been riding for a couple of decades but never really worked on my bikes but now with the internet w...
