Side stand switch? A lot of times these are taken off and the two wires are just wired together to bypass the switch. Normally down by the lower part of the engine, left side. Also done right at the cdi occasionally. If this circuit isn't closed the bike will behave the way you are describing.

Having built and still currently racing the 490. I would think you are still gonna have a chunk of change wrapped up into a 562. I know my motor was at least 3k all in. It could be done cheaper but not a whole lot.

Wow! I sold this to you and I am very happy to see you have it running. It looks great. Let me know when you go to Mid O I would love to see it run. I finally got my 489 done which was why that bike sat as long as it did. Glad that you seem to be enjoying it.

Yamabond for engine sealant.

Heat for rotor bolts. It was the lecture holding the bolt in not corrosion.

I think the fox shock is set up for stock height.

Looking for a set of race fairings or at least a full lower. I'm in Ohio. Let me know what you got and how much you want.

I always shoot for the mid to loose end.

The formula is as follows:
A+B-C= D
Where:-
A is the measured clearance
B is the current installed shim size
C is the desired clearance (given by the manual)
D is new shim size

That easy
Example
160+160-150=170 shim. Get it?

Did you fit a 3en swingarm to a 1wg? Did the braced swing arm make a difference? Was it very difficult? Where can I find one it's beautiful!
