1000 parts are larger
the FZR was single headlight for: 91 and 92
I ended up putting R1 plastics on mine which was not easy but looked great in the end definitely not bolt on)

Throw a 2X4 in under the exhaust

Not an easy fit yes you have to chop for anything but the stock tail on the 1000

All i know about opening the tacho is that you have to put it in the oven

used a similar brand/type with an old FZR 600 a few times
will work just fine
