That is fantastic information and MUCH more user-firendly than the manual (Step 1 - remove engine from motorcycle; Step 2 - Disassemble top end; Step 3 - split cases; Step 4 - comtemplate suicide). Thank you very much for the link.

This has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find it. I've got a 1WG. Can you get at the shift forks in the transmission without splitting the cases? This is where I suspect my problems are coming from and I really don't want to pull the motor if it's not necessary. The manual, of course, sho...

Guys, I'm considering an engine swap into my 1WG. Obviously I've seen that this has been done with engines from the FZR600, YZF600 and a combination of the two.
