Re: My homemade front and rear stands
You really do need to clean your bike. Those turned out really good. I have been looking to buy a front and rear stand but I cant justify what they want for them. You have inspired me to build my own now. I work for the City and I bring home metal every day and add to the pile at my house. Im going...

Re: My homemade front and rear stands

Most of the material was going to be thrown away at work.My boss even let me build them while I was on the clock(so I guess that ten dollars is not really right either since I was getting paid while I made them). If I had to buy all of the material myself it would have probibly ran ...

Re: everyones input on FZR-R1 conversion
I started off with the airtech kit on my bike and for a while it was okay.If you do get the kit be forewarned that the single head lamp sucks badly. That is one of the main reasons that I went with the 2001 R1 front fairing. You will also have a good many fitment issues(it is not as easy as the airtec...

Re: stop light doesnt sense my fzr
Here in South Carolina they just passed the law for us to go through a red but only after 120 seconds of sitting there. The funny part is that two days before they passed the law the SCDOT was at every stoplight resetting the sensors. The light at the entrance of my neighborhood used to be about a 5 t...

I have an 03 r6 seat on my air tech tail and it didn't take to much modding to get it to fit.

Steve I know a way for you to get the carbon look paint done that comes out looking good.first you need to spray the panels black ,then coverit with window screen and mist it with a gunmetal or charcoal metalic paint. we have done it this way a couple of times.I will try to find a pic of how it come...

90ca18det, Sory for teh lack of responce. I have been straight out busy here and just now got to my email after two days. So you figured out how to flip the whole assembly to be on the top or you just flipped over the shifter on its end where it attches to the spline out of the engine? I did it the...

Re: REARSETS
Dose anyone know how to convert these to a GP shift pattern? Nevermind I figured it out.For any one else that is doing this you need to use a different bolt on the shifter linkage or it will hit the heel guard. I fliped the linkage at the moter and you have to use umm what is that part called"The t...
