Hey i want to thank everybody who helped me and gave me tips and tricks on my 400. I have sold off my project and came to my senses , i was just dumping wadds of money into my 400 project, and kept hitting roadblocks and major mod problems, so i basically have had enough. Measurements on 1WG FZR 400 (USA)
Im wondering if somebody who has a 400 1wg can measure from the ground to the bottom of the oil pan for me, the bike must be standing straight up, and both tires on the ground, thanks.

I just bought a used Fzr 600 bottom triple and used my top 400 triple and all is good now, i dont know what was wrong with my bottom clamp, it didnt look bent. Thanks for your help.

Well im going to reduce weight everywhere i can, but like i said i will have a kawasaki 500 motor in mine, its 30 pounds lighter than a 600 motor out the gate. I will then go thru all areas that can be lightened up without geting $$$$$ crazy. I dont agree with people th at wont share information aft...

Yeah i thought it would be lighter than that, 06 07 R6 tanks is pretty darn light. Im hoping to be at 340 pounds with the ex 500 motor, we will see how that works out. You could put Sharkskinz on it, or hotbodies there pretty darn light, im sure you can find a way to shave some more pounds off it.

I have race tech springs, race tech emulators. I just powder coated my triple to, i trade you my triple for yours. I cant find one one ebay or forums.

Dont know, i have a 90 400, but the top triple i got off ebay dont fit, have to find a another one. Maybe i have 600 forks, and the triplei have is a 400 and dont fit, i have to figure out what is going on here. How are the 400/600 forks different, i need to determine what forks i have for sure ?

400/600 triple tree SORTED
Having trouble getting my forks back onto my fzr 400, i bought a new top triple clamp off ebay, was told its a 400, and now i cant seem to get the forks to line up. Do the 400 and 600 fzr share the same top triple clamp ? on the microfish there 1wg 24135, and 3he 34135, i dont know, but my forks go ...

FZR 400 TOP TRIPLE CLAMP
Putting my bike back together and i bought a new top triple clamp off ebay and was told it was a 400 triple clamp, but it cant be i cant get my fork tubes to line up with the holes, so im looking for a clean top triple tree of a fzr 400 ASAP.

I could go to 1/4 " shock tabs from 3/8" that would take it under 1.5 lbs, but i would worry if its strong enough. Im now working on a all aluminum subframe that goes with the shock mount and bolts right on to 400s.Freestyle72 wrote:Thanks for weighing that bro. Not bad still saved some weight!
