Hi ive got a u.k 1995 fzr600r or yzf600r and i need to change the chain and sprockets. Can i cut the old chain off and split the new chain to fit it? I had a look in my haynes manual and it says about removing the swing arm?!? Would rather not if i dont have too. Thanks in advance! :shocker

Re: Calipers question

[/quote] S, OK leave the bike alone over night, then slowly pull the brake leaver in, undo the bleed nipple on the MC ( put a BIG rag over it so it does not put fluid all over your paint !) it should bubble at that point lock it tight again. Then do the same thing SLOWLY, use a tie wrap/elastic band...

I tried fitting them today but they wouldnt go on as the caliper around the bleed nipple area fouls the fork leg. Is there a way around this? Was thinking of grinding a bit off t...

Fuel light question

Hi, i have only been riding my fzr600r for a couple of days now and was wondering when the fuel light comes on do you switch the fuel straight onto reserve? Also how many miles can you ride on reserve roughly? And how many miles can you do on a full tank of fuel? Thanks.

After searching through the wiki it seems that Fzr's are suppose to have a 18 inch rear wheel. Has my bike been modified or do the newer bik...
