Do you have pictures of the front fender, swing arm, and Slip on? Where in MA are you?

Re: I need some help regarding temperature.
I'm sure you've checked this, but if there isn't enough coolant in the system it won't contact the temperature sender and will result in a false reading. Make sure it's bled out properly.

Re: need a new clutch
I had an EBC Street Racer Kevlar clutch in my fzr and the thing slipped pretty bad in the power with Motul Synthetic. I recently put in the DP clutch setup and it's been great.

Re: Airbox is back on, with a cross threaded spark plug
Just running a thread chaser or a tap thru that hole may solve your problem. It's about 70/30 that you get away with just chasing the threads (70% chance of that being all that is necessary). If not, a solid thread insert (not a coil type like heli-coil) is your next recourse. Some guys on here are...

WTB Master Cylider Sight Glass
I need the sight glass for the front master cylinder. I'll take the whole assembly if the price is right (i.e. super cheap!)

Re: went to start up bike no luck! just clicking no cranking
Pull the peanut cover off the side of the motor and take a look man. Something may have come apart or broken in there and lodged itself in the gears.

Re: went to start up bike no luck! just clicking no cranking
If you cross the terminals on the solenoid and the started doesn't spin I highly doubt the solenoid is the problem. It sounds like the problem is the starter. Judging by your previous post regarding difficulty removing the starter, it sounds like something is buggered in there. The only thing that h...

Re: went to start up bike no luck! just clicking no cranking
I had the same problem and it was the starter solenoid. Just because it's clicking doesn't mean it's getting contact internally and sending juice to the starter. Corrosion is usually to blame for this. just put a screw driver across the terminals of the solenoid and the starter should crank. If it d...

Re: Various iterations of my FZR
Looks great man. I did the same thing for my steering damper setup. I think you should get the buell bikini fairing to go with those lights.

I can't stand riding with women on my bike. You could do the R6 tail conversion to keep the look and sell the R1 airtech unit.

OEM is always better. However I replaced mine with All-Balls seals and they have been perfect.

Bike Bandit has the double bubble in stock smoked. I got mine from there I think it looks much better than stock.

Re: transmission whine... normal for these bikes?
Anything with straight cut gears is going to whine. Street cars have helical cut gears to alleviate this problem. Nothing to worry about it. My bike sounded like it had a supercharger when I first got it.
Here's an extreme example of straight cut gears whining.
