ok i have now found out what it is and its a cushion spring, im not sure what it does but in my bike it is causing the clutch to drag, i have removed it and it works fine, i know it is suposed to be there but can i still use the bike with out it??? can anyone help me??? i am going to have another lo...

thanks for your replys guys, and in answer, yes i have bled the system well and still nothing.... ok i have stripped the clutch and buffed up the steels and cleaned the plates to make sure there is no dirt... when i stripped it i found a ring in the middle of the clutch, pics coming, and didnt know ...

no tax but i could if required, i have it insured and it has nearly a full test now, just done a few weeks ago.. im having problems with the clutch dragging, i will try to sort it... i have just changed the oil and it seams to run nice... just got a small popping from one of the headers thats not sa...

what i mean is when i start the bike and put in to gear, it wants to move away, i have changed the oil and removed the clutch and cleaned everything i can, i have also, stripped the clutch and cleaned and buffed the steals.... everything looks cool in there and still it wants to pull away witht eh c...

hi sorry for the delay in my reply, i will try to get pics up asap....
i have also just fitted new front pads and going to put in a new clutch so it doesnt drag when running...

thanks for the advice, i now have the pads and all is good, i can stop.....
next is to find a clutch, mine is draging and im sure it is fubard....
i have seen one on evilbay for £50, anyone got and used one???

as it says really, its fully MOT'd and has good tyres, it missing part of its fairing but would look good as a streetfighter or someone to put back to std... its a 1990 G reg, yellow with a black top fairing... its the twin head light bike.. with 6 pot brakes.... i got it and was goingt o use it for...

hi, im new to here but i have got an old fzr1000, its a G reg but has 17inch wheels and 41mm forks, it also has 6 pot brakes and no exup valve.... i think i have got a bag of bits to be honest but that dont help me get parts for it... the clutch isnt very good and is still dragging when pulled in......
