oily exhaust port
I was checking over my spare engine when I noticed one of the exhaust ports (#1) was very oily when compared to the others. The other exhaust ports just had carbon buildup. What would cause this oily buildup in the one exhaust port. Also how can I clean all the exhaust ports so they look nice and sh...

Re: who owns this bike, its bad ass
I shouldn't buy a 6th FZR. Do you know how many parts I have? Besides I might be converting one of them to an all electric in the future.
Plus my girlfriend wants one of those shiny things around her finger.

Re: Dynajet kit question
I had 110 mains in the carbs before but from 1/2 to 3/4 it ran like crap. This was basically the cruising range. So I either had to driver dangerously are accelerate all the time. 3/4 to WOT was bad ass though. I am hoping the 130 mains will cure this 1/2 to 3/4 problem. However, looking at the pict...

Re: Dynajet kit question
I have a full V&H exhaust with K&N air filter. I do have the dynajet needle (6 slots) and the slides are drilled already as I compared them with my stock carbs.
What do you suggest I run? I appreciate it.

Dynaojet kit question
So my bike came with the dynojet kit installed, but when I pulled the carbs the original jets were still installed. However, the slides were drilled and the needed was installed. So my question is what jets need to be installed and do they need to be from dynajet? More specifically, what size mains,...

Re: Is this worth it?
$800 is way too much. I have purchased 5 fzr bikes for around $500 each with similar damage. Some where better than others. One had a bent frame, and one I used for parts. The 3 others were fixed and either sold or still in my garage. To make them run I averaged about $1000-$1500 of additional inves...
