Re: Tail Chopping Questions????

I your are talking about the "U" shaped handles that the helmet lock is attached to, they don't provide any real structural support other than a mount point for your rear fairings. You would lose your helmet lock, but that's really not a big deal IMO. I chopped most of mine off after I modified my s...

Re: Suggestions for rear turn signal mod?

I drilled holes in the stock bracket under the subframe and relocated the stock signals. See below. The bracket helps to hold onto the stock fender/license plate mount if I remember correctly, but mine has been chopped down a bit as the back part of the fender was removed. I also utilized the bracke...

My FZR Tail Section Mod

Hope you enjoy. Used stock tail fairings and cut them in such a way that all of the mounts are being utilized. The tail light was made by modifying the original bulb housing and relocating it behind the rearmost fairing along with cutting down the factory lens. 1 3/4 inch hole saw and done. The bike...

Doesn't hurt to check and it is in plain sight anyway. Another simple thing to check is the bulbs themselves. The bulbs have two filaments, one for...

92 FZR Transmission Compatibilty

First of all...Thanks for this forum. The knowledge gathered here has been incredibly useful! I have a 92 FZR 600 that pops out of gear at higher RPM in various gears. I am guessing I have bent shift forks and maybe rounded off gears. My question is will a '90 trans or just gears, forks, and/or drum...
