Re: BIKE WON'T MOVE AFTER CLUTCH CABLE REPLACEMENT/ADJUSTMENT
Now my bike won't move or even turn off when I release the clutch lever in gear. Any ideas why? My guess is, he means the bike didn't move nor stall when releasing his clutch lever. Don take a look at the wiring diagram. When the ignition is switched on the coils are live regardless of the run stop...

Re: BIKE WON'T MOVE AFTER CLUTCH CABLE REPLACEMENT/ADJUSTMENT
Now my bike won't move or even turn off when I release the clutch lever in gear. Any ideas why? A, did you get this bit sorted as well?,as it sounds like you dis-connected a wire on the safety switch by accident. The reason why it wasn't turning off was because the clutch wasn't engaging and the mo...

Re: BIKE WON'T MOVE AFTER CLUTCH CABLE REPLACEMENT/ADJUSTMENT
Thanks Apsolus. I figured it out. I was tightening the push rod in all the way and turning it back 1/4 turn. I didn't realize that I wasn't supposed to turn it without any force. It even got rid of the slight clutch slip I used to have.

Re: HID Light turns off and on
Looks like it's fixed. I drove it around this weekend and these past couple days and the light doesn't turn off anymore.
Thanks again for all the help guys. Thanks for giving me the idea of a capacitor Cad600.

Re: HID Light turns off and on
These are regular ballasts, not Slim ballasts. I was planning on bench testing it this weekend when I had time, but I received the capacitors in the mail yesterday so I decided to give one a shot. I connected the capacitor directly to the stock bulb connector. I rode it for about 10 miles in total l...

Re: HID Light turns off and on
I originally had them connected directly to the stock H4 (Halogen Bulb) connector. The ground spade connector on the ground side and the power connector on the High-Beam side so that they turn on only with the stock switch on High. After about 2-3 weeks of having it like this, the HID would turn off...

How about these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180506084524&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT I emailed that seller and asked if he accepted local pickup. I'm planning on ordering them anyway if he doesn't. I was also wondering if my regulator was going out since...

Re: HID Light turns off and on
What's weird is that the HID's were working fine for a full couple of weeks until this suddenly started happening. One kit went out and the other is new. I honestly think it's in need of a capacitor. I have mine wired up to run with the high-beam light only, so it doesn't pull power from the battery...

Super White Xenons aint normal xenons, no blue tint whatsoever, much brighter, belive me I've bought loads of crap off eBay lol Ahh. Are you talking about HIR's? If not, I'd have to see what you're talking about. This is all I find when I search Super White Xenons. http://www.google.com/images?hl=e...

Re: HID Light turns off and on
I know that some have overload protection. I wonder if this means the same in other words. My HID kit said this: 100% digital ballast with CPU regulating the voltage so there is no damage to your car! I've pondered going with hids, they use higher voltage (over 12V) voltage? yes. i think the definin...

Re: HID Light turns off and on
The stock wire harness was never designed to use as much power (voltage) as an HID requires. Basically, the wire size is wrong. Also, the stock light switch isn't the best for this. You need to sort out your wiring to use the correct gauge. Also a good idea would be to use direct battery line power...

Re: HID Light turns off and on

HID Light turns off and on
My HID light started turning off and on a couple weeks ago. I figured that there wasn't enough power to keep it on so I bought a relay harness to connect it directly to the battery. After installing the harness, the light kept turning on and off until it finally burned my ballast. I installed a new ...
