if the things in ur starter clutch are just sticking (maybe) ua might try some sea foam and see if it helps. i find my bike fires up pretty easy push starting it in second gear. im buying parts slowly and just going to rebild hole engine cense it got to be tor down any ways. but i gota fix my truck ...

thanks for the help . turn out wasnt the right moter he found the paper work to it wasnt evan a yamaha moter drove an hour and half for nothing o well saved me 300 bucks

i just need to now hoe to tell the diffrence as the guy dosent no but if the mounts are same as mine then should work

my hanes shows it comes out threw top of moter as in total disasimbol i been push startin mine for two months i rockit back in gear and hear the starter spin some times

is there away to tell the diff between moters my bike is a 91 fzr 1000 exup i can get a good deal on a replacment moter to fix the busted starter clutch but dont no if all fzr 1000 moters will work will a genisis moter bolt in ? and still run right with the exup header on it

i have a fzr 600 and it would run great then stall out and flat die and wouldnt start...and i didnt baleave it when they said it was the battery well foot in mouth later and a new battery it runs great and no more isues ...try the battery

woo hoo i figured it out turns out one of my front wheel berings was the rong sise.i was only checking to see if berings they were good and for some reason i decided to stick the axle in the wheel and hay it flopes around in the right bering but nice and snug in left one how i ended up with a weird ...

ok ill check that out had a guy at a local shop tell me maybe i got a bent fork leg that just isnt visabole

no theres no play in the swing arm but i do notice it almost feels like the front forks and wheel shift side ways and now its pulling to the left for some reason so i had to park it tell i figure out whats going on

now that i think about it gave my freind a ride she 145 ponds and it didnt wander at alland wasnt as rough a ride wonder if they put in stiffer springs

o no batterys good one of the idler gears broke so my starter wont ingage unless ua rock the bike in gear some times itll start other times its a horribole grinding noise .. dont have the cash to hav moter torn down to fix it

well mine seems to do it once its warmed up siting at a light it will studder every once ina while .. when its cold it just idles real low but if my choke worked and i didnt hav to push start it might help too

i been riding pretty hard lkatly decided to take it asy on a tank or two and got same milage ...go figure..put some new plugs in it and it runs way beter still stumbles while idling carbs are next
