Say brew , do you mean the early style VR's , or any stock VR that came on the bike ? Mine has the big one with cooling fins , being the 98 model i think it came with it ..... no conversion done here . 22,000 on the clock .

yeah maybe i'll extend the wires and mount that baby outside the frame . It's the same story for my ignition control module and the coil on my Z28 . They are mounted on the front of the left side cylinder head . Maybe the engineers were paid to do these type of things in order for us to get replacem...

Yeah my bike has the newer VR pictured ... maybe it will hold up through this TEXAS hot HOT summer . I stated this before , i noticed that the VR on the SUZUKI SV1000 was mounted outside the frame in open site . gonna get more air .

Sounds like a firing problem to me , when the starter fluid was sprayed and went into the cylinders , if that engine had some spark , it should have fired , popped , tried to run or something ..... sometimes even if the firing system is working and the spark-plug is fouled completely , It will not f...

A F14 JET FIGHTER is what they should have named that bike ... thats a busa killer bike .... When i first took my son's Suzuki SV1000 for a spin , i had to take a look down at the engine ,trying to figure out where all that power was coming from .....

Hey : i got a 1984 Honda Big Red 250 , i know it has atleast 100,000 miles on it . thus far , it's had another carb. a used stator , starter , .... does that count ?

Wow i thought they were all straight cut patterns , the last tranny i tore into i didn't notice if any of them were helical cut ..... i wonder why my 6th gear whines as loud as my 2nd ? 22000 miles ,still running gr8t .

Well i want my daughters 1993 Kantana 600 to whine also ..lol did any of you see it in craigslist ? it was that LIME GREEN GLOW in the DARK suzuki 600F ..... i bought it in DFW area ... yeah it actually glows in the dark ... hahahaha .... a police officer owned it , then he traded it in at a motorcy...

Mine has a louder 2nd gear and 6th gear whine then any of the other gears ..... well it looks like a little extra wear on those 2 gears .... After i installed a new DID chain and new sprockets , the whine was not near as bad , but it was still there ... The guy across town put a new non-sealed drive...

I get around 40 - 50 MPG , SHELL and EXXON fuel .... 22000 miles ... 98 FZR , i have plans to gear up , don't like 6 grand revs trying to keep up with interstate traffic ... too much wear & tear for me ... i'm gonna ride my FZR to the end of the world ..

My 98 FZR is running GR8T ... no bogs , will rev up to 9 plus grand .... it has a K&n filter , good tight air box , good shell fuel in it ... When i shine a bright flashlight in the gas tank it looks very clean .... a couple of weeks ago , I took a cleaning rag and wiped out the inside of my exhaust...
