well i have concluded it is the carbs but no shops around here will even look at it they say its to old any help would be great. i can get them off i am familiar with carbs just not multiple carbs do i do anything different. if i take them off will i get them out of sync?

just bought a 88 1000 and the guy says it will not idle without choke on and it will not rev past 8000 anybody have any suggestions where to start. it ran fine before i remember when he used to ride it and he said it all just started all of a sudden one day.he said he just came outside one day and w...
