Did you sync and adjust the float bowls? Also i think that the main jet runs the bike at 3000 so you might want to look into that. Maybe theyre not screwed in tight.

I have to hold the throttle wide open to get it to crank so i dont get how to quote yet but you shouldn't hold the throttle open at all. when you use the choke it sends rich fuel to the engine. the reason for this is when the engine is cold the fuel wont atomize (trun into a vaper) and gas wont burn...

thank you. i thought it was a good deal to. i got it from this guy that put aftermarket blinkers on it and he thought that he jacked the wireing but it took me like a half hour to debug. plus the fairings are on wrong and the front wheel needs wheel bearings from sitting outside but im a do it your ...

well, do you think i'd be ok with going with the 91 one gaskets? http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/Index_Main_Frame.htm it is just why cheaper and im kind of on a budget. all im realy doing is replaceing the valves. i think the engine was rebuilt once due to it still haveing cross hatch on the cylind...

gasket 92?
so im looking to rebuild the topend and i have no clue what gasket kit to get. some say 89 to 99, and some say 89 to 91then 92 to 99. i thought that the 91s and 92s have the same engine. i could be wrong that's why i figured i'd ask first. but thanks if anyone can tell me.

hey dont mean to jack your thead but r u saying that u can just bolt on a r6 header or are you talking about a 660? i need new valves so if a r6 would work then that would be to cool.

thanks for the info. i got a manual that just said i would have to take it to a yamaha dealer so i didnt want to mess with it. but got 3 out the 4th didnt quite make it out whole.

so im painting my swingarm and first have to take care of some surface rust. its no big not that bad. the only thing is how to protect the bearings. so far every thing ive painted ive stripped, scrapped, washed with worm soapy water and steel wool and then lite sand. with the rust i want to wash the...
