Thanks McFizzer! The bike had one previous owner he is 65 and purchased it new! The bike came with the owners manual, i was able to find a service manual on the R1 Forum. One of they keys actually came with the serial number so I can make more if I lose my spare. The bike was meticulously maintained...

Actually I got a great deal! $1800 trade in and 5k cash. Would've been more in trade...but the fairing was broken :(. I will have to take a look at the R1 thread...I went to the R1-Forum...not too much info on there. McFizzer, I'll be getting rid of that rear fender ASAP, lol. I wish I tell you more...

Hey, how can I tell the difference with an R6 header and an FZR header? I'm asking cause the PO said he installed a larger header (i'm assuming from an R6)...I've been wanting to see if this is true. I can post pics if needed.

I'm had a similar issue on my '85 Honda Interceptor....turns out it was missing a balancing weight on the front tire.
