1990 Fzr 400/600 hybrid for sale $1499
1990 Fzr 400 - yes the delta box swingarm! With a 600 motor. Full micron exhaust. Fox twin clicker shock. Pods. Polished wheels. Beasley fiberglass. Was going to race it, but racing a different class, so it's still street dressed. Runs great, could rejet leaner, hadn't quite worked that out yet. Tir...

Re: MarkD
Thanks for the good wishes, all. (Brandon, not mad at all about posting, just mad at myself for dumping it.) I am healing up pretty well. 13 screws are now holding my collarbone back together, had broken into 4 pieces. Felt way better immediately after the surgery once the bones had been put back wh...

Los Angeles Motorcycle Film Festival
Hi All, not sure if this is the right section to post this, let me know if I need to put it somewhere else. I'm putting on a motorcycle film festival in downtown LA at the Cretins Clubhouse Saturday, October 23rd 8pm-midnight. There will be a bike show with trophies for winners, raffles with great p...

Best Spark Plugs for 1wg?
Anybody have any ideas on the best sparkplugs for an 88 fzr400 1wg? Irridium? The bike is race only, so WOT most of the time. Running 32mm flatslides and K&N pods, does that matter? Does porting matter? Looking for most power, not longest life/best mileage.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Master Cylinder Swap - Help!
Just got back from a test day at the track. The R6 mc works great with the 88-89 2 pot calipers. It was a little grabby at low but at track pace they were great. MUCH more stopping power, while still having good feel for trail braking fairly deep. I'm guessing the stock mc was under powered for the ...

Re: FZR400 vs Ducati 650 at Willow Springs [VID]
you must have one helluva 400 to pull away from a 650 duc I think his bike is actually faster. He pulls me on all the straightaways, but I think he lets off a little into turn 8. I keep WOT in 6th all the way through that turn which lets me get some breathing room before the front straight. I don't...

FZR400 vs Ducati 650 at Willow Springs [VID]
Fun battle for 2nd in Vintage Lightweight. My FZR400 (blue and white #525) vs Sean's Ducati 650 (Pantah I believe). The camera is on the front of Sean's ducati.

Re: Model Numbers?
so in the us the 88-90 is called a 1wg? or the 88 is a 1wg, the 89 is a 3en1 and the 90 is a 3en2?

Model Numbers?
What's the deal model numbers? 1wg, 3en, etc? Is there a place that lists all the model numbers? I checked the wiki, it sent me to rampant racing, which lists what I believe are european models, since they are not the same as mine. I am wondering about US models 88,89,90.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Master Cylinder Swap - Help!
It's easy to use the stock, but I was looking for a way to determine which of the extra mc's I had would work better, not buying another stock one that is 20+ years old. Also, wondering the ratio so I can figure this out in future cases, and determine which mc would be an improvement and which would...

Re: Master Cylinder Swap - Help!
Thanks George, Getting insta-lock on the brakes was exactly what I was afraid of. A little worried about leaving them spongy, as when they do grab they will grab hard, right? Don't want nothing, nothing, nothing, BRAKES! Does the 03 cbr600 master have more or less hydraulic advantage than the R6? (fro...

Re: Master Cylinder Swap - Help!
Already running the ss lines. So you don't think I'll have any issue with modulation if the master cylinder is different size? Thanks!
