YES! It was the plugs, they were fouled.. seafoam must have cleared some crap up in there.

On a side note, now my fzr feels very light and low to the ground compared to my fz1.

I removed one plug today and def they are fouled, they are old and black. They stink like gas. Ill be buying new plugs probably tomorrow or sat.

Ill change em this weekend and let you guys know what happened.

I got a newer, fz1 1000 and I have not ridden mi bike in a week.. I added seafoam to the tank(THIS HAS TO BE THE PROBLEM) one day, started it up, ran fine.. for me I had to take apart the right controls (with the start button) and there was a wire in there that was loose that needed to be resoldered. I'd check in there too. Should be a blue wire. I think its normal, mine does the same thing. I noticed it today. Only does it when I first start it. Just dont rev it when you turn it on.

Oh and yeah mine only does it when its around 60 degrees, dam thats cold for me tho over here its like 70 degrees by 7 am.

When was the last time the valves were adjusted? Laos oil levels? what type of oil? weather?

I added more oil and it seems to be gone. I put more than half is that bad?


Also idiot me... while checking the oil I dropped the bike and couldnt pick it up, it got scracthed

I used lucas 20w 50 sythetic, only used half a quart. i guess my bike burns oil, I cant find a leak anywhere.

Every now and then the oil light comes on, what does this mean? oil? I check the level every day with the bike straight and the level is just fine. What else can it mean? could it be alternator not charging? (have not had battery problems) Also my speedometer cable snapped, I dont think that can cau...
