Hi, The whole point of the exhaust pipes is to help the engines performance curves, that is why when you take off Yamaha's unglamourous pipe & replace it with a slip on or headers & slip on 9 times out of 10 you have to tweek the carbs. take that sprocket cover off (dont mess with the clutch cable leave it attached. and see if its leaking behind the shift rod or front sprocket.
