wow, great advice! it must be the plug lead because when i tried changing the boot with #3 it was the same, then i switched 1&4 and it was #1 that wasn't firing. the new set should be here soon so i'll bet that fixes it. thanks!

Well the problem has finally been resolved. Turns out two of my wires were messed up but they are fixed now and i'm back on the road. thanks for the input

Sounds like youre running way rich. And if the plugs are fouled in 100 miles, there's definately an issue. Clean the plugs really well with a wire brush and some carb cleaner. But you are way off somewhere in your carbs' jetting more than likely. What type of mods do you have? jetting? when you too...

thanks for the advice, i got it worked out now. i just changed the spark plugs a few months ago so i figured they weren't the problem but i just changed them out and sure enough its running like a champ now. two of the wires were loose though so that probably had some impact on it. thanks again!

Ok, problem solved! Two of the front blinker wires were touching and I didn't realize it. Whenever I replaced the fuse it burned out instantly with the ignition turned on. Thanks for the help!
