Might want to also check the vr flow chart. It has the resistance readings that can help out.

I remember when I dragged my old 600 home. No spark. Turned out to be my pick up coil/stator. Just something I thought to add in addition to what don suggested.

Not normal unless somethings loose. Where is the rattle coming from? Is your bike an exup with the stock header? Could be the valve needs service.

Have managed to fit thundercat master cylinder while retaining mirror stay by using a lower profile reservoir and bracket mounted from top yoke by using the screw threads at the end of the top fork clamp. The '91-92 had the single headlight, with the associated birdcage and upper fairing. I believe the side and belly panels were all the same. Correct.
