Re: fzr/yzf part out. Massive list of rare & performance par
Shipping really depends on the weight of the item and how quickly you want it. I use skippy post for larger items by airmail or Auspost for smaller items/seamail. You can get a rough idea using the calculators below or I'm happy to give a postage cost. http://www.skippypost.com.au/rate_calculator.ph...

fzr/yzf part out. Massive list of rare & performance parts
Well it's come time to get rid of all my fzr/yzf parts. I have amassed a lot of rare parts and had fabricated some pretty cool things too. More things will get added to this list. Photos can be found here http://s14.photobucket.com/user/dru1986/library/FZR%20parts%20selling?sort=3&page=1 I am locate...

Re: tire on rim question
so you want to put the 150 wide tyre on the 4" wide rim? If so that is not a problem (it's actually closer to the proper size tyre for that rim). I wouldn't go the other way though.

Re: FZR400 1WG 88 front discs
ive got a set I think! they should be 282mm Just in case you're offering up 3EN or 3TJ rotors - I don't recall the diameter of the 1WG rotors off-hand but I'm fairly certain that they are slightly smaller than the 3EN or 3TJ units (which I believe are the same as the 3HE 600 rotors). Aside from tha...

Re: Source for Front Wheel Spacer?
I only just saw this. I've got a spare one from a wheel i chuck ages ago. You can have it for the price of postage, I'll sent you a PM. With the spacer i found it was 0.5mm wider that the max seating depth of the bearings when i had to make one for my TZ250 rim (no one seemed to have one of those la...

Are you running an airbox or pods? What carbs are you using?

Re: Ohh, Yes, he did...660 the easy(?) way
NO spacer = the cam chain won't be over stressed (too tight) the chain tensioner will survive, and NOOOOOO damn adjustable cam gears needed. yep shouldn't need adjustable cam gears, however the other two points are completely wrong. The cam chain is still loose when you use a base gasket for the 66...

Re: jet size ideas
As above main jets make no difference to starting. I''m skeptical that jetting is your starting problem though, changing from an airbox to pods has negligible change to the airflow at engine starting speeds/idle speeds. I'd be thinking your carbs either need a good clean or that your valve shims nee...

Re: jet size ideas
Run all 4 cylinders with the same size jets, staggering makes bugger all difference. On the dyno we found that going one size smaller (from 120 to 118) made the a/f go from 11:1 to 11.2:1. For pods try 126 on all four and then adjust needles, pilots, etc. Don is correct in that when they do run stag...

Re: fzr 400cc exup year model
definitely a 3en1. The only thing that doesn't look correct are the lowers, they look like they're off a fzr1000?
Don:
The 3en1 had the braced swing arm, the 3en2 didn't(commonly know as the 90 swingarm in the US).

Re: Spin on oil filter mod but with an oil cooler?
I actually did this swap with my fzr600. There's a hollow bolt that goes through the oil cooler adaptor that needs 3mm removed (part 7 on the first image). Apart from that all you need is part 1, 2, 3 & obviously 4 on the second image. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a332/dru1986/oilcoolerfz600.gi...

Re: 660 not liking the choke
George, Alot of businesses will only send stuff UPS/DHL/fedex, hence massive shipping costs on small items overseas. If you want something from the US at reasonable shipping costs it has to be sent USPS, alternatively if they won't send USPS I use my forwarding address (I'm getting ~20 items a month...

Re: 660 not liking the choke
You have to get the main jet size right before the needle jet. The needle jet throttles the main main jet until the slide has lifted all the way up. Changes to either of these two should not change the "choke" as it runs off a different circuit and since the slide is all the way down the needle jet ...

I'd be checking your valve clearances with numbers that low. You'll probably find your intakes have zero clearance.

Re: maybe a dumb question
He was referring to ordering parts. Since the other models(3en 3tj etc) weren't sold directly in Canada dealers don't list them.
