Re: For Sale...90 FZR "fightered"
Still up for sale. I'd like at least 1 grand for the old gal. Like I said, less than 2 K on a 520 conversion, new rear BT-014 and pads. Bike is the same as my avatar. Russell lines up front, clip flip, and a jet kit with a Yosh slip-on and K & N filter. Custom paint, R-1 Airtech tail. Only thing it ...

For Sale...90 FZR "fightered"
Been thinking on this for awhile, gonna sell the old gal. Hoping for at least 1K. This deal includes 2 helmets, (HJC CS-12, and a Zok helmet, both with day/night faceshields), a ICON Team Merc jacket in black, and various gloves. Also included is a Tank Bag. Bike has about 30k on her, new speedo, an...

Re: Billy Bad A** Cruiser
Ain't it funny how the asshats with braggadocio ALWAYS say they are "ex-special forces". Sounds like a run of the mill bully to me. I'd have called him on it, then too I ain't much afraid of anything or anyone on two legs or four. I once took on an inmate who was a documented 5th degree black belt i...

Re: Anyone ever have this happen?
I have every Tues/Wed off now so maybe we can get together on one of those days? I'm thinking maybe a wednesday because I'm putting a new band together and we practice on tuesdays. I wouldn't mind a few lazy runs around Castle Rock, or this new road I found outside of New Lisbon.

Re: Anyone ever have this happen?
Well I finally got my lazy ass around and pulled the tail. I did find bare wire coming out of one of the signals, touching the threaded barrel coming out of the left signal and taped it up. The 20a fuse looked like it was starting to melt in the center and I replaced that as well. Double checked the...

Anyone ever have this happen?
I switched on the turn signals and my engine cut out. I have experienced a battery drain as well, while parked. Bike starts and runs fine until I hit the turn signals...I'm gonna do a switch inspection over the next two days. I also noticed that it won't have the juice to spin the starter over more ...

Re: How Far do you ride?
I commute daily exactly 72 miles round trip to work and back at anywhere from 75-85/90mph. 48 mpg is the lowest figure I've seen. Oh yeah...we get good sweet 93 octane premium at the local CitGo station. So far this season, I've logged well over 5k miles.

Re: "Bike Night"
I remember last year when I had a couple of Apple ipod decals, so I put them on the tank cover. Folks would walk around my bike wondering "What the hell is that thing?" I have NRC covers, and the only thing that says Yamaha is the master cylinder and the right case cover. I used to tell 'em, " It's ...

Re: WI Ride
Ahem! Bump? We should really figure out a date and hit it. Like I said before, I have every tuesday and wednesday off. Offer of a nice comfy futon and floor to sleep on still stands. Perhaps a spin about what used to be Lake Delton with a run to Wildkat Mtn.? Or maybe a REALLY nice ride to Richland ...

Re: Chain Clatter
Is it the link with the master link thats making the chatter? The link itself might be binding just enough especially if you pressed it on a little too hard. If the sideplate is squashed on too much, the pins won't allow the link to engage the sprocket teeth smoothly, and may be the cause of the cha...

Good question! We used to be pretty active, now it seems The WI Fizzer Society don't exist anymore.
