Re: Help: My chain popped off and caused some major issues
If this catastrophe is due to your mechanic not installing the left chain adjuster, I would suggest the right place to start finding replacement parts is your mechanic... The place where I got the tires put on was an actual motorcycle repair shop. I asked my mechanic, but he said he doesn't know an...

Re: Help: My chain popped off and caused some major issues
Ok, so I towed the bike to my mechanic and he figured out what happened. I had both my tires changed a month ago and they forgot to put the left adjuster for the rear wheel on. So over time the rear wheel started to bend to the right which caused more slack and caused the chain to pop off and destro...

Re: Help: My chain popped off and caused some major issues
I wouldn't say that my engine is dead because it does start up and the transmission is still intact. It just seems like the clutch is stuck in disengage. I feel uneasy about taking the engine out because service manual is vague and the pictures aren't clear. Can I pull the engine out just by having ...

Re: Help: My chain popped off and caused some major issues
Sorry about that. I'll see if I can post up clearer pics up tomorrow. I looked on Bike Bandit.com to see which parts I saw were damaged. One was the clutch rod and one had to do something with the water pump.

Re: Help: My chain popped off and caused some major issues
http://cid-b8ceb7ced67fd782.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/FZR%20600?lc=1033 I can see where the oil is leaking and I have no idea how to fix that. I can't see where the coolant is leaking from. As I took the sprocket cover off little pieces of metal were coming, but I didn't see any big pieces. I al...

Re: Help: My chain popped off and caused some major issues
whipped the clutch pushrod and may have cracked the engine case. Would it be possible to replace or seal the engine case or am I looking at a new motor? btw, how did the chain come off? was it too loose, or have a clip that came off? I'm positive it was because there was a decent amount of slack on...

Help: My chain popped off and caused some major issues
Hello all, I am new to this forum and I have a question. I was merging onto the highway and went to grab second gear when the bike just lurched and I was unable to shift. The wheel didn't lock up but I look down as i was rolling off the highway and saw green fluid (coolant possibly) and the chain wa...
